United States Tennis Association Scholarships DUE Feb. 27 and other scholarships...please pass along to girls and boys who play tennis!

Hi Donna,
There are various scholarship opportunities through the USTA both at the national level and section level. The first link below is for scholarships available through the National Diversity and Inclusion Department.
The January 7th deadline has been extended to February 27th so not a lot of time to complete the application at this point.

Each of the USTA’s 17 sections has their own grants that are available to  residents of their sections. If you go to www.usta.com and click on “Find A Section” in the upper right hand corner of the home page, you can find scholarship/grant information for each section. A link to the my section’s (Northern) is below.

Lastly, the USTA Foundation has several scholarships for incoming college students. The application deadline for those scholarships was today, but the link below is  FYI.

FACILITIES

The USTA Public Facility Assistance Program is extremely competitive. The need for new tennis facilities or improvements at existing facilities is not, in and of itself, sufficient justification for a grant. The Public Facility Assistance Program is intended to have a major impact on the growth of tennis in a community and the clients served by that organization. Our review includes a thorough evaluation of the programmatic, administrative, financial and organizational accomplishments of the applicant.
The USTA Public Facility Assistance process begins with submission of a Tennis Facility Inquiry Form. After review of the Tennis Facility Inquiry Form and initial follow-up conversation with a USTA representative, some applicants will qualify to submit a full USTA Public Facility Funding Application.
